Who are we?

Alliance LARP Virginia is a high-fantasy live-action role-playing game (LARP) chapter that brings immersive adventures to life. We are a passionate community of storytellers, roleplayers, and combatants who come together to create epic tales of heroism, intrigue, and battle. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or brand new to LARPing, our chapter welcomes players of all backgrounds and experience levels.

What Do We Do?

We host weekend-long LARP events where players step into a medieval fantasy world, engaging in:

• Live-Action Combat – Using safe boffer weapons and spell packets in strategic, rule-based encounters.

• Story-Driven Roleplay – Dynamic plotlines filled with mystery, diplomacy, and adventure.

• Character Progression – Develop your character’s skills, magic, and reputation over multiple events.

• Community Building – Foster friendships, teamwork, and creativity in a welcoming environment.

General Dates, Times, and Locations

• Event Schedule: We typically run multi-day events on weekends, with a mix of full campaigns and smaller mod days.

• Game Start & End: Games generally begin Friday evening and run until Sunday afternoon.

• Location: Our events take place at various scenic campsites in Virginia, ensuring an immersive setting for players.

How Much Does It Cost & What’s Included?

• Membership Fee: Players pay an annual membership fee, which grants access to all official Alliance Virginia events.

• Event Fees: Each event has an associated cost, covering campsite fees, NPC resources, and in-game materials.
